Winc Design, the team behind Charlie Banana cloth diapers, is an eclectic group of Canadian, American, French and Hong-Kong based entrepreneurs. Winc's president Gaelle Wizenberg, was inspired by her children, son Zachary and daughter Charlie-- Charlie Banana as her brother calls her-- to create a collection of products that combines eco friendliness, quality, design, and practicality in one brand.

Charlie Banana diapers feature a pocket design. Each diaper comes with two reusable pads in two different sizes-- use them separately or together for  night-time or nap-time diapering. 

Charlie Banana are hybrid diapers-- a 2 in 1 system. You can use washable cloth inserts inside the pocket diaper or opt for a disposable insert while traveling, shopping, or if dropping your child off with someone not experienced with cloth diapers.  Made out of biodegradable wood pulp, Charlie Banana disposable inserts are free of chlorine, plastics, dyes and perfumes.

Charlie Banana offers both both one size and sized diapers.  With easy snap adjustments at the hip and waist, as well as elastic that can be adjusted around the leg openings, Charlie Banana one size diapers are designed to accommodate your growing baby from birth all the way to potty training. Assuming about 12 changes a day for a newborn, 24 to 36 diapers is probably a god size stash to invest in. And since you won't need to add larger sizes as your baby grows, one size diapers can offer substantial savings over time. They do require some experimentation to get just the right fit and may prove too big some newborns and preemies and/or too small for larger toddlers. 

Charlie Banana sized diapers offer that perfect fit essential for a leak-free cloth diapering experience. And if you do need to refine the fit even further, snaps at the waist and hip will let you do so.You'll want to start your stash with at least 12 size small diapers, since your newborn may require 12 or so changes per day. As the baby grows, it'll need to be changed fewer times per day. That means you'll probably end up adding at least 12 medium and  8 large diapers before you are ready for training pants.
